The dormitory No. 2 of Osh State University is undergoing a thorough restoration as a part of the project “Center for Advanced Practice” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic’s program “Skills for Inclusive Development: Sector Development”. Informed of the ongoing work, Rector Kudaiberdi Kojobekov visited the facility.
On the first floor of the dormitory, which is undergoing a complete renovation, there are sewing shops for the training and production complex, software production. On the second floor there will be guest rooms for teachers who come from colleges in the regions to improve their knowledge. The remainder will be student housing.
The college will transform into a training and production facility where students can learn while putting their new knowledge into practice. The Osh State University’s branded store will sell goods produced at the training and production complex.
In 2018, the Ministry of Education and Science, with assistance from the Asian Development Bank, implemented the “Sector Development Program: Skills for Inclusive Growth” initiative, which included the Industrial Pedagogical College of Osh State University.
