World Bioethics Day was marked at the Medical Faculty
On October 19, 2023, a symposium entitled “Safeguarding Future Generations” was hosted at the Medical Faculty of Osh State University in honor of the Eighth World Bioethics Day.
This event was jointly organized by the Public Health and International Bioethics Department of the Medical Faculty in collaboration with the Department of Public Health of Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.
The symposium drew the participation of representatives from healthcare organizations, city sanitary-epidemiological oversight, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection, and Technical Supervision, as well as experts, lecturers, and students.
As part of the symposium, alongside thematic presentations and discussions, there was a competition for drawings and social awareness videos on the designated theme. The winners of this competition were awarded with special monetary prizes and certificates.
