The Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technologies at Osh State University, in collaboration with the Cybersports Federation of Kyrgyzstan, will host the inaugural “Phygital Football” tournament for university students, commemorating the 85th anniversary of Osh State University.

The event is scheduled to commence at 9:00 on May 18, 2024, at the following location: 331 Lenin Street, main building of Osh State University.

The tournament will feature a group-stage format, with teams divided into groups of four. Each match comprises two stages: a digital stage (eFootball2024) and a physical stage (5x5 football). The digital stage follows the rules of interactive football, with two athletes per team participating, and lasts for 10 minutes. The physical stage involves 5x5 football matches on a mini-football field, with each team fielding 5 players (4 field players and a goalkeeper) and 1 substitute player. Matches consist of two halves, each lasting 7 minutes with a 5-minute break. The winner is determined by the total number of goals scored across both stages.

Applications for participation in the tournament are open until March 15, 2024. Interested parties can register via the provided Google Forms link: https://forms.gle/UGhDyUeDPfnSxpf99. Cash prizes, diplomas, and valuable gifts will be awarded to the winners and runners-up.
