1000-4000 som stipends to successful students pursuing career in pedagogy
During the press conference, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beyshenaliev stated that it is being considered to give financial rewards to students who do well in their studies in order to encourage applicants with high ORT scores to become teachers.
He remarked, that the proposal to pay 1000 soms for first year students, 2000 soms for the second year, 3000 soms for the third year, and 4000 soms for the fourth year students was unanimously supported by the Cabinet of Ministers.
