The Faculty of Business and Management was established in 1996 as part of a project to train specialists in the field of business and management at Osh State University and the University of Portland in the United States. Educational work and research activities of the faculty are carried out by seven specialized departments - "Accounting and Economic Analysis", "Enterprise Economics and Business Administration", "Business Informatics and Mathematics in Economics", "Finance and Credit", and "Economics and Credit". Taxes ”and“ State and Municipal Administration ”

Public organizations that contribute to the activities of the faculty - educational and methodical council, trade union, women's council, youth committee, youth business club, Osh State University ENACTUS team, and student government.

In total, about 4,000 students (including 64 students on a budget basis) study at the faculty full-time and distance learning. Since 1996, more than 200 students have studied, trained, and exchanged experiences at leading universities in the United States, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and China through various international educational programs.

From December 2010 to May 2012, the faculty participated in the TEMPUS project for the accreditation of curricula of Central Asian universities, successfully passed all stages of testing the quality of teaching in the field of "Economics" and received an international accreditation certificate.
