In 1996, the Faculty of Business and Management at Osh State University was born as part of a pioneering project, designed to train specialists in the dynamic field of business and management, in collaboration with the University of Portland in the United States. Over the years, this faculty has not only met its initial mission but has also flourished into a hub of academic excellence and research, shaping the future of business education in the region.

A Diverse Array of Specialized Departments

The Faculty of Business and Management operates under the guidance of seven specialized departments, each dedicated to a distinct facet of the business and management world. These departments include "Accounting and Economic Analysis," "Enterprise Economics and Business Administration," "Business Informatics and Mathematics in Economics," "Finance and Credit," "Economics and Credit Taxes," and "State and Municipal Administration." This diverse array of departments ensures that students are equipped with a well-rounded education that spans the entirety of the business and management spectrum.

A Supportive Network of Public Organizations

The faculty benefits from a strong network of public organizations that actively contribute to its academic and extracurricular activities. These include the educational and methodical council, trade union, women's council, youth committee, youth business club, Osh State University ENACTUS team, and student government. This rich network of support fosters a vibrant and inclusive academic environment that extends beyond the courses, allowing students to engage in a variety of leadership, community, and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Global Exposure and Exchange

One of the faculty's remarkable achievements is its commitment to providing students with a global perspective. Since its inception, the faculty has facilitated opportunities for over 200 students to study, train, and exchange experiences at leading universities in the United States, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and China. These international educational programs open doors for students to gain exposure to diverse cultures and educational approaches, enriching their academic and personal development.

International Recognition and Accreditation

From December 2010 to May 2012, the Faculty of Business and Management took part in the TEMPUS project aimed at accrediting the curricula of Central Asian universities. In a testament to its commitment to academic quality, the faculty successfully navigated all stages of testing the quality of teaching in the field of "Economics" and received an international accreditation certificate. This recognition underscores the high standards upheld by the faculty in its quest to offer a world-class business and management education.
