OshSU's student participates in the international competition
The World Bioethics Day is observed at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy on October 19. Participants in the "Social Responsibility and Health" event include lecturers and students.
Zhyldyz Urmanbetova, a professor at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, presented a guest lecture titled "Challenges of the 21st century: social responsibility in the aspect of human and nation health" during the first part of the activities. The lecture's subject of discussion was fascinating. The opinions and recommendations were made on national and international values, culture, the creation of professionally focused programs, scientific research.
The results of the international student competition, which was held by the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy's Unit Group of the Department of International Public Health, were compiled in the second section. First place went to the work of Osmonali uulu Nurali, a student at OshSU's Faculty of Medicine, which was led by the university's press secretary, Z. Nuraliyeva. Third place went to Vaishnavi Zhaykumar, a student at OshSU's International Medical Faculty, which was led by Associate Professor A. Turusbekova. On behalf of Kyrgyzstan, the winning entry, the short film "Tandoo," will be sent to the Haifa International Festival.
Lecturers and students that participated in the competition received certificates.
