The start-up project competition's top 5 finalists have been chosen

Trainings were held for selected 39 students out of 613 on October 24-29, 2022, at Osh State University's Youth Business Park. The participants received comprehensive business training, as well as a business trip of Osh-area enterprises. The participants developed their initiatives over the course of the week, and on the day of the pitching they showcased them to the commission and potential funders. Five finalists were selected after the pitching, and two of them would each receive a $2,000 grant.

Below is the list of finalists:

1. Ashirova Begimai Zulpudinovna, Faculty of Medicine

Project: Vit'oss surgical group.

2. Socialbek kyzy Ayelita, Faculty of International Relations and Digital Diplomacy.

Project: Yurt camp "Barchyn".

3. Dzhusupbekova Zhainagul, Faculty of Arts.

Project: Creative Center. Drawing club.

4. Adakhamova Mubina, Medical College.

Project: Confectionery house.

5. Kubanych uulu Kumarbek, "Yiman" gymnasium.

Project: Manufacture of horse equipment and products from natural leather.

In addition to that, certain participants also earned certificates from the commission. Young businesspeople not only met partners and learned invaluable information from the top trainers at the Entrepreneur Support Center, but some of them even received employment offers.

The Aga Khan Foundation and USAID work together with Osh State University's Youth Business Park to implement the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Program.
