A delegation from Hungary is at OshSU
A delegation from Hungary led by Mr. Shandor Dorogi, Hungary Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic came at Osh State University and met with the OshSU president K. Kozhobekov. The parties talked about ways to improve collaboration, plan scientific and cultural events, and expand student and lecturer academic mobility.
The Department of International Relations' Hungarian Language and Culture Center, where more than 20 students currently study the language, was established in 2021.
Three students from the Department of International Relations are studying in Hungary for the 2022–2023 academic year as a part of the Hungaricum program. Three students attended the Balashi summer school program in 2022. Additionally, the Department of International Relations strives to collaborate with other Hungarian universities.
It should be noted that in the spring of 2023, in order to strengthen cooperation between the universities of the countries, a forum of rectors of the universities of Kyrgyzstan and Hungary will be held in Bishkek.
