Osh State University students are going to study in China
Sixteen students, who are currently pursuing their education in the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty in the fields of Chinese language, philology, and software engineering, have been selected to participate in the joint diploma program with Xi'an University in China. Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov met with these students and wished them strong health and success in their studies.
Furthermore, at this juncture, Osh State University is actively expanding its external and internal academic mobility programs. They are taking significant steps to enhance the educational experience for students by establishing partnerships.
OshSU and Xi'an University students will participate in a 2+2 joint diploma program, starting their education at OshSU in the first year. They will undergo proficiency tests in the Chinese language, ensuring their readiness for the program, and then proceed to Xi'an in the 2nd and 3rd year. Upon completion of their 4th year at OshSU, they will obtain diplomas from both universities.
The collaboration between Osh State University and Xi'an University was set to officially commence on May 6, 2023. This partnership aims to strengthen academic cooperation, promote the exchange of knowledge, and implement academic mobility program of bachelor’s, master's and PhD students, lecturers, and researchers.
