In a bid to foster academic exchange and broaden their research horizons, six PhD students from the Osh State University Philology Program embarked on a significant working visit to universities in Uzbekistan, during the month of November. The visit aimed to forge connections and exchange expertise with counterparts at Andijan State University and the State Institute of Andijan to delve into scholarly pursuits and enhance collaborations.

Moreover, the 4 PhD students from the Osh State University Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology visited to the Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan and engaged in a rigorous exploration of academic methodologies. During the visit, discussions encompassed topics such as collaborating with international scholars to prepare academic articles for prestigious journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and the Russian Science Citation Index.

The visit of these PhD students traversed beyond scholarly debates and extended to immersing themselves in the reservoir of knowledge housed within the libraries of the academic institutions visited.

Osh State University has been actively promoting such international collaborations within its PhD programs since 2021. Presently nurturing 79 PhD students across seven different fields, the university has consistently emphasized the significance of cross-border academic alliances and the value they bring to scholarly pursuits.
