The university hosted the “Student and Scientific-Technical Progress” regional student scientific conference on November 25, 2023. The event saw students, over 100 scientific supervisors, scholars, and representatives from various universities' scientific spheres.

During the plenary session, five students presented reports, while the conference spanned 22 sections covering diverse scientific areas, where more than 400 young scientists' research articles were deliberated upon. The best speakers were recognized with diplomas.

“We've been hosting this event regularly for young scientists since 2014, with this year marking our 10th anniversary. In 2020, we transitioned to an online format due to the country's situation. This conference has evolved into a pivotal platform, facilitating discussions and applications of the outcomes of our student community and budding scientists' research. It actively promotes and nurtures scientific inquiry among students and postgraduates, fostering the emergence of specialist skills.” noted Associate Professor Guljamal Anarbaeva, the chief specialist of the postgraduate and doctoral studies department and the conference organizer.
