In a gesture reinforcing the bond between France and Kyrgyzstan's educational realms, Ambassador Francois Delaus recently extended a generous contribution of 100 French textbooks to OshSU. Aimed at benefiting students of the Faculty of World Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Higher School of International Education Programs, this contribution signifies a commitment to nurturing linguistic and cultural exchange.
During his visit, Ambassador Delaus engaged in significant discussions with Nurlan Omurov, the vice-rector for academic affairs at OshSU. Their conversations revolved around fortifying the connections between French higher education institutions and OshSU, delving into strategies to implement educational initiatives and amplify the mobility prospects for both faculty members and students.
Ambassador Delaus also extended an invitation for OshSU faculty members to join an exchange course at the University of Poitiers in June 2024. He expressed delight at revisiting OshSU, praising the students' interest in learning French, promoting cultural exchange.
Additionally, OshSU's collaboration with the University of Poitiers under the "Erasmus+ KA 171" program facilitates study opportunities for faculty and students at the French university. These initiatives reflect a commitment to fostering academic collaboration and cultural understanding between the two countries, shaping a brighter future for international education.
