The chairman of the professional union of Osh State University, Dr. Absamat Sattarov, a candidate in biological sciences, and Jyrgalbek Uson uulu, the deputy dean for scientific affairs at the faculty of physical education, participated in the international congress on engineering and natural sciences held in Antalya, Turkey, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Turkey’s founding.
This congress, organized by the Trade Union of Turkish Education Workers and the Eurasian International Organization of Educational Professional Unions, featured reports by Sattarov on “Dangerous Natural Phenomena of the Pamir Alai Mountain System” and Uson uulu on “The Influence of Natural Objects on the Development of Mountain Tourism in Osh Region”. Sattarov’s presentation delved into the consequences of earthquakes in the Alai and Chon-Alai districts, outlining disaster prevention measures, elimination efforts, and soil restoration activities. Meanwhile, Uson uulu focused on the impact of natural elements on mountain tourism development in the Osh region, highlighting the conducive conditions for such development in the southern part of Kyrgyzstan.
The congress concentrated on engineering and natural sciences related to significant earthquakes that occurred in Gaziantep city and Kahramanmarash province, Turkey, in February of the same year. Participants from 26 countries worldwide contributed scientific reports, which were shared on a dedicated website by the Eurasian International Organization of Educational Professional Unions.
