Six students from the Faculty of Natural Science, Tourism, and Agricultural Technology participated in an environmental hackathon aiming to address climate change challenges in Kyrgyzstan. They gained valuable insights into climate change and its impact on tourism, as well as learned skills in implementing eco-friendly practices in small and medium-sized businesses through digital solutions. The event, called an "ecothan," involved more than 50 students, IT professionals, environmental activists, bloggers, experts, and mentors from various regions of Kyrgyzstan. This initiative was organized under the project focusing on energy-efficient tourism in Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan, supported by the EU SWITCH-Asia program.
