Results of the competition “Mr. OshSU-2024”
In commemoration of the 85th anniversary of Osh State University and the Defender of the Fatherland Day on February 22nd, a spectacular event unfolded at the “Kyrgyzstan” cinema: the Mr. OshSU-2024 contest.
Thirteen young men from various faculties and colleges of the university showcased their creativity across four thrilling rounds.
Emerging victorious as “Mr. OshSU-2024” was Nursultan Erkebaev, a student from the Industrial Pedagogical College. Abdurakhman Alimov, representing the Faculty of History and Social Affairs, secured the coveted 1st place. Meanwhile, Manas Anarbekov from the Medical College clinched the 2nd spot, with Saifidin Shaiyrbekov from the Faculty of Arts claiming the 3rd position.
In addition to these accolades, Symyk Tashiev, a medical faculty student, was dubbed “Mr. Intellectual OshSU-2024” and “Mr. Instagram OshSU-2024”. Ramazan Amirbek Uulu, from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies, earned the title of “Mr. Talented OshSU-2024”. Bael Jenishbek Uulu, representing the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism, and Agrarian Technologies, was honored as the “Mr. Strong OshSU-2024”. Stemming from the Innovation College STEM, Daniel Koshunbaev was nominated as the “Mr. Stylish OshSU-2024”.
The winner of the “Mr. OshSU-2024” title received a grand prize consisting of 20,000 soms, along with diplomas and certificates. Other laureates and nominees were also awarded cash prizes, diplomas, and gifts from the university.
According to Nurzhamal Mapaeva, the Vice-Rector for Public Affairs and Youth Policy at OshSU, the male contest was orchestrated with the noble aim of nurturing students, glorifying national values and Kyrgyz culture, enhancing the intellectual and cultural prowess of men, organizing cultural leisure activities for youth, refining their aesthetic taste, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, and instilling patriotism within the community.
The Mr. OshSU-2024 contest not only celebrated individual talents but also underscored the university’s commitment to fostering well-rounded individuals who embody the essence of Kyrgyzstan’s rich cultural heritage. As the event concluded, it left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of both participants and spectators, echoing the spirit of camaraderie and excellence that defines Osh State University.
