In a celebration aimed at fostering cross-cultural understanding, the administration of Sanjaktar Girls’ Dormitory at Sivas Cumhuriyet University recently organized a vibrant event dedicated to foreign students.
The event, attended by representatives from various corners of the globe, saw the participation of Nurayim Asanbayeva, a student from the Department of English Language and Teaching of Primary School at the Higher School of International Educational Programs at Osh State University, and Ainuska Karataeva, a student specializing in English language at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. They introduced the guests to the history, culture, national values of our country and presented national tastes.
Students from Kyrgyzstan, Senegal, Iran, Azerbaijan, as well as from Turkish cities like Mardin, Samsun, and Kahraman Marash, actively engaged in the festivities, showcasing the rich tapestry of diversity present within the university community.
Presently, five students from Osh State University are pursuing their studies at Sivas Cumhuriyet University under an academic mobility program, further solidifying the ties between the two educational institutions.
