Expanding Collaboration with City University of Malaysia

A delegation from City University of Malaysia, consisting of Firuzjon Gulov, the Manager of the Central Asia International Marketing Department, Montel Pierre Henri, the Executive Manager of the university's Language Center, and Tahmina Murzakmatova, the Director of Go Global company in Kyrgyzstan, visited Osh State University. The delegation met with the OshSU leadership led by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov to discuss further collaboration in education and research.

During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities was signed. The memorandum outlined plans for academic mobility for students and faculty in fields such as philology, linguistics, medicine, information technology, and business. Discussions also covered opportunities for OshSU students to study in Malaysia, dual degree programs, joint research projects, and scientific research.

The meeting was regarded as another significant achievement in the continuous development of relations between the two countries. In the afternoon, delegation representatives met with students from OshSU to provide information about City University of Malaysia. The meeting, which strengthened cooperation between the higher education institutions, was organized at the initiative of Zoldoshbek Butonayev, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies at OshSU.

City University of Malaysia is a renowned institution with a 40-year history located in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
