Electronic Registration for Schools Will Start on April 8
The Ministry of Education and Science announces that on April 8, electronic registration for the first grade of state and municipal schools for the academic year 2024-2025 will begin.
The electronic registration will be conducted through an automated information system at https://mektep.edu.gov.kg/ in two stages:
Stage I - based on the legal registration address (residence address) - from April 8 to June 2, 2024;
Stage II - based on the actual place of residence (regardless of the registered address) - from June 3 to August 30, 2024.
Parents or legal representatives can register children aged 6-7 for the first grade on the platform mektep.edu.gov.kg online.
When enrolling in the first grade, the following documents must be provided:
- A statement from one of the parents or legal representatives regarding the child’s enrollment in the first grade of the educational institution;
- Identity documents for the child and their parents or legal representative: in order to determine enrollment in the first grade of the educational institution in accordance with the law, the child’s birth certificate and the passport of one of the parents or legal representative through the State Portal of Electronic Services “Tunduk”;
- Original medical certificate of the child’s health status (according to the specified form);
- Original medical certificate of received vaccinations (according to the specified form);
- Photo of the child, size - 3x4 cm.
For questions about electronic registration, please contact the call center at 110. The call is toll-free. The communication center will operate from April 8 to August 30, 2024, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
