OshSU delegation in Russia
Rector of the Osh State University Kudayberdi Kocobekov and the accompanying delegation visited universities in Chelyabinsk. Our colleagues met with the rector of the South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University T. Chumachenko. The parties discussed a wide range of issues of further joint work and signed a bilateral cooperation agreement.
During the visit to Chelyabinsk State University, they discussed with the Vice-Rector for scientific works I. Bychkov about the importance of establishing a partnership and signed a joint cooperation agreement.
OshSU delegation took part in a joint meeting with Russian colleagues at the South Ural State University. The Russian side was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs I. Savelieva, Vice -Rector of scientific works A. Korzhov. The rector of the university A. Shestakov took part online. The parties discussed in detail the curricula of joint educational programs and various organizational issues. The sides also exchanged views on other promising issues of cooperation in the educational sphere, academic mobility, filing applications for joint participation in international projects, holding joint scientific and practical conferences.
The meeting resulted in the signing of a bilateral agreement on the implementation of the double degree educational program. Osh State University and South Ural State University have been cooperating since 2020, successfully implementing joint educational programs in the areas of computer science, mathematics, regional studies, philology. Students studying in these areas will receive diplomas from two universities.
The working visit of the Osh State University delegation will continue with a visit to the universities of Yekaterinburg.
