Since September 5, 2022, the Kyrgyz Republic's Ministry of Education and Science is testing the Automated Licensing and Accreditation Management System. Nadira Dzhusupbekova, the deputy minister of education and science, made this announcement at a web conference today, on September 2.

Nadira Dzhusupbekova claims there is no longer a requirement for paper documentation to be submitted to the ministry. Everything will be available in electronic format now.

Leaders, experts in the accreditation of district, city, and department of education departments, and school principals participated in the online conference. An ICE Lab employee named Aibek Shakitov created a presentation for the attendees.

According to Baktygul Akulova, who is in charge of the ministry's accreditation division, the system was created as a part of the certification of educational institutions and programs' transition to digital processes.

The head (director) joins the system using an electronic digital signature, completes the self-assessment materials, and then an application for accreditation is prepared automatically, according to what she said. This is how educational organizations are registered in ALAMS. The Ministry of Education and Science receives the application from the system. You can submit an application for accreditation on the website https://asula.edu.gov.kg/

The process will be automated in order to guarantee objectivity, accrediting openness, and a lower danger of corruption.
