Cooperation between OshSU and Tianjin University
On September 19, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the rector of Osh State University, and Chen Fachun, the rector of Tianjin University of Foreign Languages, met virtually to sign a memorandum of collaboration.
The heads of the relevant structures and the teaching staff from the two universities were present for the signing ceremony.
OshSU and Tianjin University will work together to plan education and training for online credit disciplines, open short-term professional and language programs as part of joint educational programs, implement academic teacher and student exchange programs, scholarship programs and organize scientific conferences.
"Tianjin University of Foreign Languages provides education in all languages of the world. Rector Chen Fachun indicated a wish to establish a Kyrgyz language speciality. Together with the Kyrgyz-Chinese faculty, we will use all the opportunities of Tianjin University and implement big projects", said rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov.
OshSU collaborates with 45 universities of People's Republic of China, 28 of which have bilateral agreements.
