A student and graduate of OshSU succeeded in the IV World Nomad Games

Dinara Kamchybekova, who participated in Kazakh wrestling (Kazak Kurosh), won the silver prize. Due to a hand injury, she was unable to take part in the final. Kamchybekova studies in OshSU's Faculty of Medicine. The student is a master of judo and wrestling. She competed in the traditional form of wrestling in the Asian Championship and took a bronze medal.

Alumni of OshSU Elzada Momunzhanova, who took first place in the IV World Nomad Games, received a gold medal. She graduated the faculty of international relations of OshSU.

More than 3,000 participants from 102 nations took part in the Nomad Games, and their closing ceremony was held in Iznik last night. Kazakhstan will host the following games in 2024.

At the World Nomadic Games, 148 participants from Kyrgyzstan competed in 11 sports.
