OshSU students won two automobiles
An international XI boxing competition was organized in Osh from October 5 to 9 in honor of the brothers Abduvali and Nurgazy Arziev, who were the USSR's greatest athletes. More than 150 competitors from China, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and China competed in the sport over 13 weight divisions.
OshSU students actively participated in the competition. Two of them—Azizbek uulu Bayaman in the 57 kg weight category and Zhantoro Tashiev in the 63.5 kg weight category were given cars provided by the competition's sponsors. The title of "master of sports" was also given to the champions.
