The role of social work in complex emergencies was discussed
At OshSU, the function of social work in emergencies such as the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Batken was discussed.
Representatives of the local government, vice-rector for state language and social affairs Mastura Sharipova, vice-rector for student community Zhyldyz Artykova, chairman of the professional association Apsamat Sattarov, heads of structures, social workers, and representatives from Uzbek higher education institutions participated.
The university's social affairs department was in charge of planning the event. Presentations on emergency situations and the resulting behavioral patterns were made at the event.
The meeting was held on October 19 dedicated to the Day of Social Workers and Trade Unions.
