Ishaq Razzakov, the great son of his country
Today, Osh State University hosted an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the 1952 All-Union Conference dedicated to the study of the epic “Manas” and the birthday of its initiator, the Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic and the outstanding statesman Ishaq Razzakov.
The event began with a scene prepared by students. It included songs praising Ishaq Razzakov and monologues about his actions for the Kyrgyz people. Also, reports were made on the contribution of I.Razzakov to the artistic heritage of the Kyrgyz people and to the folk epic “Manas”.
The event was attended by Baltagul Nurunbetov, the chairman of the Osh branch of the Kyrgyz People’s Assembly, Mastura Sharipova, vice-rector for state language and social affairs of Osh State University, faculty and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and History.
