OshSU to collaborate with Anglia examinations
Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the rector of OshSU, and Tilek Urkunchiev, the director of the Anglia examinations educational institution in Kyrgyzstan, signed a memorandum of collaboration. Participants in the discussion included lecturers as well as Rahat Sagyndykova, dean of the faculty of world languages and culture, Aida Zulpukarova, director of the college of international education programs. Ayla Dakollari, and Artur Banaev, representatives of the institution from Great Britain participated in the online format.
100 OshSU students have already begun their studies after passing the test as part of this scholarship. The Anglia examinations method is used to educate them for a whole year.
Two lecturers from OshSU's Faculty of World Languages and Cultures and one teacher from the College of International Education Programs will gain experience in Great Britain from January 9–14, 2023.
The goal of the Anglia examinations institution is to introduce to Kyrgyzstan a standardized test like TOEFL and IELTS. In Kyrgyzstan, this pilot program involves 4 schools and 3 institutions.
