Osh State University colleges celebrating Literature Day
The College of International Education Programs, Business, Law, and Medicine hosted a photo exhibition and essay contest in honor of Literature Day.
The students presented a video report about two literary geniuses Chingiz Aitmatov and Alykul Osmonov.
In 2011, with the initiative of Kyrgyz poets and writers and the support of parliamentarians, December 12 was declared as the Day of Literature. December 12 coincides with Chingiz Aitmatov's birthday and Alykul Osmonov's death day.
