Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, visited the Medical Clinic of Osh State University
As part of a visit to the Osh region, Akylbek Japarov, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited the Osh State University campus and got acquainted with the medical clinic and technological equipment of the medical faculties there.
The honored guest was briefed by Osh State University’s rector, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, on the operations of the university’s clinic, which is located on the Ak-Buura campus, as well as the project to build a new clinic on the site of the former Osh City Clinical Hospital structures.
The rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, stated, “We put sustainable development goals at the forefront, fulfill the fundamental requirements for achieving international recognition, enhance student education quality based on new scientific and educational technologies, and ensure the sustainable development of the university as a modern educational, scientific, and innovative complex, preserving and developing universal and national values.”
It should be noted that five leading universities of Kyrgyzstan received special status by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Decree, including Osh State University. A plan for the university’s strategic development, titled “Model for sustainable development of Osh State University for 2023-2026” has been developed in order to carry out the responsibilities assigned.
