The allowance for the scientific degree is increased by 50%
The Cabinet of Ministers at a regular meeting decided to increase the allowance for the scientific degree by 50%.
From January 1, 2023, the monthly salary increments at the main place of work for scientific, pedagogical workers, faculty, including employees of public authorities will be:
- For Doctor of Science - 2700 soms;
- For Candidate of Sciences - 1350 soms.
This decision was made as part of the implementation of the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026 for the development of scientific activities and financial incentives for scientists.
It should be noted that before that, an allowance of 1,800 soms was established for doctors of sciences, and 900 soms for candidates of sciences.
