Students visited Military Unit
In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, students from the College of International Educational Programs of Osh State University visited military unit 36806 and participated in a 5-kilometer march.
Students interacted with veterans of the Afghan war and the Batken incidents in 1999–2000 as part of the memorial activities, and they also watched a brief documentary about the Battle of Stalingrad. These activities aim to increase historical understanding and foster young people’s patriotism.
Lieutenant Colonel Zh. Samidinov, a college professor, arranged a visit to the military unit.
