13 students have studied at Sivas Cumhuriyet University through an academic mobility
In the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, 13 students of Osh State University have undergone academic mobility from Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Turkey. They are students of the Faculty of Medicine, World Languages and Culture, Mathematics and Information Technologies, Faculty of International Relations and Higher School of International Educational Programs. Currently, 2 students of the Faculty of Medicine, 1 student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies are continuing their education.
“Osh State University is an educational institution that provides great opportunities for students. These opportunities make it possible for students to get free education from foreign educational institutions. As students of OshSU, we also went through mobility at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, one of the leading universities in Turkey. I took this opportunity as a big change in my life, because it was a great experience to improve my current education to another level. In addition, it was a reason to meet and make friends with many new people of a different countries,” says Aidana Ajimamatova, a 3rd-year student at the Faculty of World Languages and Culture.
Asylbek kyzy Batma, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of World Languages and Culture, said: “The library of Sivas Cumhuriyet University is special. Literature in all languages can be found there, and there is also a large computer room. The library is open from 08:00 in the morning until 22:00 in the evening. And on exam days, they work 24/7 and feed students with light meals. University accommodation for students is 600 lira, about 3000 soms in our money, including breakfast and dinner. Conditions for students are very good. You can save time and money and get the best education. To take advantage of such opportunities, you need to know Turkish and have enough money to buy a plane ticket. Don’t miss out on getting an education in a country with a rich culture.”
Since 2015, Osh State University has been cooperating with Sivas Cumhuriyet University through the “Erasmus+” program. In 2020, the rector of Osh State University signed a bilateral cooperation agreement with the Sivas Cumhuriyet University during his visit to Turkey.
