OshSU chess team will participate in the Moscow State University's Cup on behalf of Kyrgyzstan
OshSU team took first place at the chess tournament held in Bishkek on February 26. The winning team will represent Kyrgyz universities in a chess tournament at Moscow State University from May 14 to May 19.
OshSU's national chess team comprises of Yrysbek Aldashukurov, chess master and Physical Education Department lecturer, Nurkazy Israilov, candidate master in chess, and Bektemir uulu Kayratbek, STEM Innovative College student.
The team of the Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University took second place, and the team of the "Ala-Too" International University took third place. 22 teams from 10 higher educational institutions of the country participated in the team tournament held as a selection.
