OshSU master student won the first place in the international athletics marathon

OshSU master student Gulshanoy Satarova participated in the international athletics marathon held on March 12 in Tashkent and won the 1st place. The marathon was held as part of the selection tour for the Olympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024.

Athletes from 34 countries took part in it and ran for a distance of 42 kilometers. The Kyrgyz Athletes won 2 gold and 1 silver medals.

Gulshanoy Satarova has 20 years of sports experience. She is the first and only woman athlete from Kyrgyzstan holding the title of international master of sports. She has won international competitions like Asian Games. In addition, Gulshanoy won two gold trophies at the Malaysian athletics competition in the 800 and 1500 meters.

Gulshanoy Satarova is preparing to go to the international marathon in athletics, which will be held in South Korea in the next few days.
