An agreement will be signed with Omsk State Medical University
A video conference was organized between Omsk State Medical University and Osh State University. Omsk State Medical University vice-rector for educational affairs E.B. Pavlinova and vice-rector for postgraduate and continuing medical education A. S. Kolchin, and the director of the International Relations Department of Osh State University A. O. Abduvaliev, head of the educational department I.N. Atabayev, deans of the Faculty of Medicine, International Medicine, directors of the Center for Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education, Medical Clinic, and lecturers participated.
The parties talked on student academic mobility, resident professors, dual degree programs, student internships, and the scheduling of guest lecturers.
Following the negotiations, it was decided to create and launch double degree programs in the disciplines of medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.
A delegation from Omsk region led by the governor will make a special trip to Osh from April 17–19. It is planned to sign an agreement between the two educational institutions at the aforementioned event.
