Medicine Faculty students successfully participated in the Olympiad
Students of the Faculty of Medicine of Osh State University took part in the International Olympiad "MEDICINE and INNOVATION". The Olympiad was held at the Tashkent State Dental University on April 7-8, 2023.
The Osh State University team performed under the guidance of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor S. Shatmanov, associate professors Z. Israilova, T. Seitbekov, F. Rysmatova and G. Kasiyeva. In the field of gynecology, 4th year student Aiperi Nurbek kyzy and 6th year student Aitilla Abdiroshut kyzy won the first place. They showed excellent theoretical and practical knowledge in surgery among 16 participants.
In the field of internal diseases, 2nd year student Dastan Damirbekov took second place, 5th year student Gaukhar Dosmatova took third place. 2nd year student Abdimannapova Guliza was awarded a certificate for active participation in the Olympiad.
The Osh State University team presented a thematic video film about the folk customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, and the medical faculty of Osh State University.
Moreover, OshSU lecturers attended conferences held by other medical universities in Tashkent, where they presented theme reports and gave guest lectures.
In general, participants in the Olympiad came from 18 medical universities in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Karakalpakstan.
