Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited OshSU
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, H.M. Mirzahidov visited Osh State University and met with students from Uzbekistan.
The vice-rector for student affairs Zhyldyz Artykova, adviser to the ambassador P.A. Saidov, representative of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan B. Abdusamatov, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbek National Cultural Center for the Southern Region A. Atajanov, employees of the Work with Foreign Citizens and Consular Services Department and about 500 students attended the meeting.
The meeting's attendees were informed by guests about changes in the Constitution regarding young issues, gender equality, and human rights. They also called for active involvement in the republic's referendum on April 30, 2023.
The guests also reported that polling stations and the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan would open in Osh.
The seminar was organized by the Work with Foreign Citizens and Consular Services Department.
