More than 100 doctors are lacking in general medical practice centers in the Osh region. They include pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and resuscitators. Such information was provided today, April 13, at an employer meeting hosted at Osh State University.

The OshSU Postgraduate Continuing Medical Education Center was in charge of planning the event. The OshSU President Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the president's authorized representative in the Osh area Ziyadin Jamaldinov, and representatives of general medical practice centers from Chon-Alai, Alai, Kara-Suu, Nookat, Ozgen, Kara-Kulja, and Nookat took part at the meeting.

The event’s goal is to improve graduates' competencies and train them in accordance with the requirements of the modern workplace.

Currently, 620 residents are trained at the Postgraduate Continuing Medical Education Center. 264 of them will graduate this year.
