Tazagul Zakirova’s collection of poems was presented at Osh State University
A people's poet and honored figure of the Kyrgyz Republic, documentary film maker, dramatist, journalist and the Moldo Niyaz literary award holder Tazagul Zakirova’s collection of poems titled "A poet needs a homeland" was presented at Osh State University.
OshSU community, prominent social and political figures, and music lovers took part at the event.
OshSU President Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov congratulated Tazagul Zakirova on her 70th birthday.
“We are especially pleased that you have been awarded the title "Honored Worker of OshSU". I want to thank you for visiting our university and always supporting and advising our students who are enthusiastic about poetry", - said OshSU President.
At the event, the "Duburt" student theater presented dramatized scenes and members of the "Jiger" creative center read the poet's poems.
Poet Tazagul Zakirova wrote about 100 melodious songs about the Motherland, which were sung by the people and kept in the golden fund of Kyrgyz radio.
