The OshSU boxing and weightlifting teams succeeded at the Universiade
The Osh State University boxing team took second place in the Universiade in Bishkek. Athletes led by the Honored Coach of the Kyrgyz Republic Turdali Omorov won three gold, one silver and 5 bronze medals. The team was awarded a 1st degree diploma and a cash certificate for 25,000 soms.
The Osh State University weightlifting team also showed good results, winning one gold and one silver medal. In the overall team standings, the university weightlifters took 5th place.
The Universiade is held from 3 to 20 April in Bishkek in 17 sports. The best teams will be selected to participate in the World Universiade 2023.
