Osh State University hosts an international conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor Alymkulov

An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Keldibay Alymkulov began to work at Osh State University.

As part of the scientific forum, a research center of Professor Alymkulov was opened at Osh State University.

Prominent scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan take part in the conference. Mathematicians from Spain, the Czech Republic, Germany and a number of other countries participate in the online mode.

The rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov spoke with a welcoming speech to the participants and an overview of the life and work of Professor Keldibay Alymkulov.

The plenary session featured presentations by professors Zhusubaliev Zh.T. (Russia), Koshanov B. (Kazakhstan), and Ashurov R. (Uzbekistan). Geometry, topology, differential equations, equations of mathematical physics, operator theory, spectral theory, mathematical and computer modelling, approaches to teaching computer science and mathematics, as well as other topics related to mathematics and education, are covered by the conference’s program. Plenary reports, section reports, and poster reports are all part of the conference schedule.

Keldibay Alymkulov made a significant contribution to the development of university science and the training of young scientific personnel. He is the author of over 150 scientific articles and monographs, prepared 2 doctors and 10 candidates of sciences. Professor Alymkulov opened at Osh State University and for many years led the dissertation council for the defense of candidate dissertations in the specialties 01.01.02 - differential equations and 01.01.04 - geometry and topology. For merits in the field of science, he was elected a corresponding member and an honorary academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
