A literary competition among OshSU international students
A literary competition “The country and city where we live and study” was conducted among OshSU international students at the university. The contest was organized in order to find out students` opinions about Kyrgyzstan and Osh City, develop their writing skills, promote their love for Kyrgyzstan, and strengthen friendships among students. More than 20 essays were submitted to the competition.
The jury led by the American Studies and Translation Department head Gulzat Ayipova analyzed and evaluated the essays.
As a result, a student of the International Medicine Faculty Kumar Rishab won the nomination “Grant Pri”, a student of the Medicine Faculty Nurbolot Uraimov won the nomination “Winner”, a student of Russian Philology Ayana Kadaeva took first place, a student of the International Medicine Faculty Akela Ankit took second place, and a student of Agrarian Technologies Faculty Sherzad Karshibaev won third place.
In the second half of the 2022-2023 academic year, the department hosted several cultural, intellectual, and sporting events for international students.
