Osh State University signed a memorandum with Elsevier
On September 8, 2023, a meeting of the rectors of universities in the Kyrgyz Republic that are part of the consortium for the subscription of the international scientometric database Elsevier took place at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, a memorandum was signed between Elsevier B.V. and Osh State University as the provider for the consortium of universities in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Participants also took part in a training seminar conducted by Damir Rakhmetov, the regional manager for Central Asia and Azerbaijan. Rabiga Khodzhamkul, a consultant for Central Asia and Azerbaijan, and Kirill Ivanov, a consultant for analytical solutions in Central Asia and Russia, from Elsevier, conducted an online training for rectors on using the Scopus database for publishing articles in international journals.
