International students were informed about medical insurance
A meeting was conducted at the Faculty of International Medicine in order to explain the mandatory medical insurance policy.
Participants were briefed on the mandatory health insurance policy, and information was shared regarding its implementation in different regions of the Kyrgyz Republic where foreign students are currently studying without health insurance coverage.
On May 2nd of the current year, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic issued an order making it compulsory for all foreign students studying in the country to adhere to the mandatory health insurance requirements.
The event was organized by the Department of Work with Foreign Citizens and Consular Services.
