Congratulations from the Rector of Osh State University for the New Year
Dear Compatriots,
I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the upcoming New Year!
The passing year has been successful and fruitful for our country. Thanks to the measures taken by the country's leadership, noticeable positive advancements have been made in every sector of the economy. There has been a substantial increase in state budget revenues, which has positively impacted the wage increase for public sector workers and civil servants. New schools, hospitals, and other social facilities have been constructed, creating new job opportunities and expanding road networks. Overall, the welfare of citizens has improved, reinforcing the trust and support of the people in the current government and state institutions.
Positive changes are also occurring in the sphere of education and science.
The year 2023 was marked by significant events in the life of Osh State University. We successfully underwent independent international accreditation (NAAR), significantly broadened our spectrum of international relations, hosted the third forum of rectors of Kyrgyzstan and Russian universities at a high level, effectively implemented joint double-degree educational programs with foreign universities, launched the Lomonosov Moscow State University Center, cultural centers of leading universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and established branches of Osh State University in Astana and Tashkent. In 2023, Osh State University became one of the top three universities in Eurasia, reaffirming our aspirations for transformation into a 4.0-generation research university.
I am confident that our people, demonstrating unity and cohesion, will achieve new heights.
