Osh State University's Youth Football Team Excels in Super League
On January 27, the conclusive matches of the preliminary round in the Super League unfolded. In the second round, the youth football team “University” from Osh State University secured a notable victory against the “Sports Committee” with a score of 13:7. This triumph marked the team’s second consecutive stronghold on the leading position, propelling them into the semifinals.
Presently, the team holds the pinnacle spot in the Super League with an impressive total score of 31 points. The playoff stage matches are set to kick off on February 12 in Bishkek.
In an earlier achievement, the university’s youth football team advanced to the semi-finals of the Kyrgyz Republic Cup held in the southern region. Notably, this team stands as the sole representative of the university in the country’s history.
The mini-football players of Osh State University made their debut in the Super League in 2022.
