The Bukhara State Medical University in Uzbekistan hosted an Olympiad for IV International Higher Schools of Medicine students. Among the participants was Gulchehra Aribzhanova, a student from Kyrgyzstan enrolled in the Medical Faculty at Osh State University. The Olympiad brought together over 300 students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
The competition encompassed 42 medical disciplines, and Gulchehra Aribzhanova showcased her skills in “Propaedeutics of pediatrics.” She performed exceptionally well, securing 2nd place out of approximately 50 participants and earning a prestigious second-degree diploma.
Currently pursuing her third year in the Medical Faculty, focusing on pediatrics, Gulchehra Aribzhanova was guided by Associate Professor Kursanbek Turdubaev.
During the Olympiad, Associate Professor Kursanbek Turdubaev actively contributed to the educational and methodological efforts of the Propaedeutics of Pediatrics Department at Bukhara State Medical University. He conducted 36 hours of practical courses and guest lectures on “Propaedeutics of pediatrics” earning a well-deserved certificate.
