In Memoriam: Professor Bukarbai Imetov (05.01.1951 – 02.02.2024)
Kyrgyzstan mourns the loss of Professor Bukarbai Imetov, a distinguished educator, who dedicated over 50 years to Osh State University. Born on January 5, 1951, he excelled in various roles, from faculty member to vice-rector. His contributions include educational programs such as "Manas and Music". Imetov, a recipient of numerous awards, was not only a scholar but also a devoted family man. His memory will endure in the hearts of students, colleagues, and family. The university community expresses deep condolences to his loved ones.
