The ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India and Sri Lanka Askar Beshimov delivered a guest lecture at the Institute of Oriental Studies at Osh State University. The online guest lecture was on the topic “Kyrgyzstan's Place in International Politics.” It was attended by students and faculty members of the institute.
“The Institute of Oriental Studies regularly organizes outreach lectures with the participation of Kyrgyz Republic ambassadors abroad. The lectures provide information on the history, current state, and future of diplomatic relations, as well as Kyrgyzstan’s place in international politics,” said the director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Zholdoshbek Botonoev.
Ambassador Askar Beshimov suggested that students learn foreign languages, adding that language proficiency would increase their chances of studying and working abroad. During the lecture, opinions were expressed on proposals for implementing collaborative projects.
