Results of the Spartakiad
From January 31 to February 11, Osh State University hosted a sports contest among the faculty in 5 sports - volleyball, basketball, table tennis, toguz korgool and chess.
In the team competition, the first place was taken by the Industrial Pedagogical College, the 2nd place - by the Medical College and the 3rd place - by the Department of Business and Management.
On February 10, the award ceremony took place with the rector of OshSU K. Kozhobekov, the chairman of the trade union committee A. Sattarov and university teachers. The winning teams, the best players were awarded with diplomas, cups, cash prizes of the university and the trade union. The prize fund of the Games amounted to 70 thousand soms.
The Spartakiad among the teaching staff of Osh State University is traditionally held annually in order to improve health, attract teachers to active physical education and sports.
