Rector's congratulations on Teacher’s Day
Dear colleagues! I sincerely congratulate you on Teacher's Day!
For Osh State University, the word "teacher" has a sacred and symbolic connotation. In 1939, İnstitute of Teachers was the forerunner of Osh State University, and it was later renamed the Osh State Pedagogical Institute. For half a century OSPI had played a major role in education. Osh State University has made a commendable contribution to the socioeconomic growth of the country and the training of highly trained professionals since it was granted the status of a state university in the early years of independence.
Dear colleagues, you are crucial for the university's success. Students will always remember your lectures, seminars, instructions, and advice. The knowledge you impart to young people gives them a sense of independence and supports them in their professional endeavors.
We are confidently making progress toward converting the university into a cutting-edge research university. Our ability to educate pupils in lyceum schools and gymnasiums like "Bilim," "Yiman," and "Zirek" is another way we differentiate ourselves from other universities.
